On Saturday in Stockton CA is the tempura style deep fried Asparagus eating competition. The reigning champ is Joey Chestnut and has been holding this title for the last 4 years. Joey also holds the record at 8.8 pounds, and every year he beats his record. Let's see how the Local favorite does.

How much corn can you put back

On Sunday in West Palm Beach FL is the annual sweet corn eating competition. Where competitive eater's have 12 minutes to eat as many corn ears as possible. The current record is 34.5 from Crazy legs Conti.

Joey takes the cake

Being the San Jose native, Joey Chestnut could not be done up in the Great America funnel cake eating competition over the weekend. Eating 5.44 pounds in 10 minutes. If you are not familiar with who Joey is, he's the first person to beat Kobayashi in the annual Nathan's hot dog eating competition every 4th of July. Congrats to Joey for making sure he's still the champ in his hometown.
